do you have toe overlap problems using cages? do you just get used to it by pointing toe at low speeds etc.? i have a 53cm mash and am curious as to what to do about running cages. dope bars!!

imchuck says:

ahm there is the toe overlap using the cages as you say but for me it's not a "big deal"maybe initially but becoming accustomed and learning to live with it you will  ride without even thinking about it..
The important thing is "do not turn too slowly" and also the length of the cranks,  I mount a 165 mm.

ps maybe you can solve with the straps but I prefer toeclips.
upload some pic of your mash! :)

will do, just waiting on a new chainring to get here and seeing what to do with the pedal set up. im running a 165 crank as well but still have the overlap on the 53cm. it prolly dosent help that i prefer to run 28c randos. im sure with a 23c the overlap would be substantially less. but thanks for the info man

maybe you can ask someone here who has the same size of your histogram, however, I ride with 23c. :)
