Nice Avalanche! I have a ‘92 Karakoram that I’d like to raise the stem just like yours. I must know, how did you get yours raised so high? Cheers

Funny thing about the stem height... I actually bought it like this and I'm trying to lower it since then. But it's stuck.
However, you should be able to adjust the height, once you loosen the stem and headset screws. (unless yours is stuck too....)
