Was originally bright red and full of scratches. I had the frame/fork blasted and then repainted it using turquoise engine block paint. Added a metal GT head badge and a wide swept back handlebar. Changed up the gearing to get rid of the 46t chainring I never use. Great trail/neighborhood bike.

Nice work adding the metal GT badge! Why did you go for an engine block paint?

Thanks. I've found that the engine block paints are more durable than other types of paint (likely due to their high heat resistance). I also like most of the engine block colors (light blues, turquoise, etc.). My other mountain bike was also painted with an engine block paint: a dark pewter gray.
