Like the rear rim as a custom (self?) gift and the story behind the bike! You say it is a H+Son. Do you know if it is a SL42 or Formation Face or EERO. Hard to tell from the pics if the rim has a beaking surface. Looks NonMSW first.

Thanks! It was a self gift - the 15 years were in 2 different companies... ;) It's an EERO rim with no braking surface. The rear brake is just decoration for the cops and never in use. What means "nonMSW"?

:) A worthy self gift!
If it wasn't just for the show I would have said: Don't use them for breaking.
MSW = machined sidewall = breaking surface / nonMSW = non-machined sidewall = no breaking surface.
I think there are nonMSW rims that can be used with breaks. But it can be "dangerous" maybe, if the material is thinner or something. Not sure about that. At least breaking wouldn't work right. My H+Son Formation Face has a Warning sticker on it :) "Not to be used with rim brakes." (Thinking about ... I have to peel off the sticker).
