Now upgraded with a Shimano Sora 9 speed gear set, Ahead adjustable stem and flat topped bars which spread the weight on my hands, put the bars where I want them, and my gear changing now from the bars, the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden.
Also converted to 700c wheels Shimano Tiagra hubs on Mavic rims (from Dave Hinde), with Schwalbe Marathon tyres and a cargo trailer comes in useful for shopping or taking a decent amount of camping kit on tour.
