Raleigh Clubman 2012 (125th anniversary)

I wasnt planning another bike, but this had all the braze ons, a great spec that I really like, the right size, it was an on line bargain and the money just happened to be in the bank at christmas, well I deserved an extra present :-)

Frame:
Reynolds 520 cromoly steel

Fork/Headset:
cromoly steel

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Shimano Tiagra

Pedals:
Shimano M520 SPD (changed from standard)

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Shimano Tiagra 20 speed

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano Tiagra

Handlebars/Stem:
Polished alloy Ahead

Saddle/Seatpost:
Brooks B17 black / polished alloy

Brakes:
Tektro Quartz

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Shimano Tiagra on Weinmann rims

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Shimano Tiagra on Weinmann rims

Accessories:
full colour matched mudguards

More Info:
the original Brooks Swift saddle I found hard and narrow, so ebay straight away and replaced with the wider, cheaper and more comfortable B17, black tape to match, a rear carrier added and spd pedals to go with my shoes and one fantastic all round light tourer, commuter, audax, training and do almost anything bike. Road tests have made criticism of the brakes, the longer drop on the frame for the mudguard clearance means they could not stay with Tiagra, however the brakes wear in nicely so I better blocks in next time.

On some on the pictures you can see the layer of ice that formed on the front of the bike after riding home from work in freezing fog!
