US Cycling Team GT Track, 1993

These framesets are often attributed to Yamaguchi but that’s incorrect. He (very obviously) designed these and oversaw their construction, but he never built for GT Bicycles (although he admitted that some of his Performance brand bikes were repainted in team colors). This one built by Forrest Yelverton in GT’s Longmont, CO shop using Yamaguchi-designed True Temper Velo aerofoil tubing. They were produced ‘93-‘96. This one was likely built for Carl Sundquist.
