x1 Panasonic PR-6000 DuraAce 8s[Friends]

The road bike of a good friend of mine. He was given it as a birthday present from his father, who found it and bought it from a widow, not knowing how many people look for the PR-6000's, he's also given a different handlebar and some handlebartapes (NOS). The bike was sold by 'Radsport Wulff' in Hamburg, due to the little sticker at the seattube. My friend crashed the nike once while he was drunk and luckily only scratched the pristine STI's. Sadly the frame is a little smal for this tall guy, so he rides it with a different saddle/seatpost combination. I love the superior build quality and the integrated seatpost clamp! I need to get a look again to see what those rims are, but I believe they're Mavics. I've got only those rather bad pictures. i took them in our holiday in tuscany in late summer 2016.

Current Stage Info:

9.2017:
When I load this beautiful bike on the car for our trip I saw that the rear rim was braket through (craked surface). In progress of our holiday we tried the Tecno wheelset. It looks absolutely stunning and perfect matching for the bike (even though they have got such havy rims)!
Due to the fact that he also rides it in town, the latex tubulars aren't very practical, so we're looking for another wheelset or some new clincher rims.

I treat it a little better. This is definitely my 'nice bike'!

Could you ask your friend to contact me if he ever sells it? Thanks.

but it was form a commuter, right?
I will, but he will keep it and change only the frame into a similar, but bigger one!

Correct, it was used by a messenger. It obviously shows signs of that up close, but all in all it looks pretty good indeed.

Wish I could help you with the larger frame! But I'll keep my eyes peeled.
