Fausto Coppi by Masciaghi

I scored a killer deal on this NOS Coppi frameset in Westminster MD. Needed a 2019 winter build to occupy some time. NOS Shimano 105 crankset and BB also presented itself there for practically pocket change. A legendary "Lady in White" commemoration had it's beginnings.

Frame:
NOS Coppi 62 CM CTC , probably Columbus ( I added generic decals ) OS tubing in top and down tubes. Fully chrome plated under paint. Vertical drops spaced at 130 mm

Fork/Headset:
Columbus chromed unicrown, Columbus drops / vintage NOS Specialized

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Shimano 105 FC - 5502 , 172.5 mm 9 speed rings exchanged for thicker 41 x 52 8,7,6 speed compatible rings. Shimano 105 Octalink 70 x 109.5

Pedals:
Re-furbed Dura-Ace 7401 clipless powdered to match.

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
41 x 52,Sram 12 x 26 8 speed, DID Super L

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano 105 RD-5501, Shimano 105 FD-1055, Shimano SL-R400 8 speed

Handlebars/Stem:
ITM 100 mm x 26.4, Cinelli 64 - 42mm

Saddle/Seatpost:
Selle Italia Turbo 1980 re-issue, Richey 27.2 mm

Brakes:
Shimano 600 BR-6207 , Campagnolo Super Record levers

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Shimano WH-RS10 , Michelin Dynamic Sport 700 x 25
