I agonized for months trying to nail down the year and model for this bike. Finally, based on limited catalog info, Helium frame with it's graphics and components I'm confident this is a PH 10 from 1950. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I've only found one other bike in the world like it. That owner in France claims his is 1949 but my catalog info says it's 1950 like mine.
Frame:
Helium lightweight tubing, chromed legs, brazed on lugs. After 1950 the Helium frame was gradually phased out in favor of Vitus, then Reynolds in 1958.

Stronglight steel
Pedals:
1950s steel
Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Atom cog 4 speed
Derailleurs/Shifters:
Simplex Tour de France plunger rear, Simplex jockey shift front
Saddle/Seatpost:
Leather saddle (can't make out the brand) with aluminum frame / Aluminum post
Brakes:
LAM aluminum calipers and levers, original 76 year old pads
Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Normandy aluminum hub with optional quick release / Aluminum rim with Hutchinson tubular tire 700c
Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Simplex aluminum hub with optional quick release / Aluminum rim with Hutchinson tubular tire 700c
