my right knee morphed into a broken bag of dicks so I had to stop riding track bikes .. after the DeRosa Nick I had an opportunity to get this Idol - and oh man am I ever glad i did ;) It rides great up and down and on the flats ,sprints like a ninja and is nice to me on the rough stuff. It handles well in the dirt and grass and sand and those rocky as fuhh wrong turn trails too. I'm a total fanboy for the DeRosa brand and I love that they keep it low key and classy and don't go full kook marketeering just to sell to kooks. It still feels like a family business to me and one that has a deep heritage that you can go look up for yourself. I could have gotten a lot of bikes but i went with the one that made me smile to think of owning it - I always wanted a DeRosa track frame .. sigh.
