( when i bought this bike it came with an old school style campagnolo pista crankset which was super flexy - somehow the crank puller threads on the driveside crank arm were completely gone - like worn smooth as though they were filed out ! used a torch and a hammer and boop - off at last. the spider on those cranks was also drilled out to allow 144 and 151 bcd chainrings to fit ... )

they're just elongated - sorta oval like - and perfectly machined. either someone with some serious tech did it on their own or they are a strange campy thing. it all fits too tight to be done by someone with a drill;)
