Frame from Eddy "Martelly" Martens. Almost finish with the build. It rides great. The handling is superb. Henk Baars won with one of these frames the Cyclocross World Championship in 1990.

It is far older. Afaik it started in the 1920ies in France. During winter season they raced off the road because it was better to race on snowy trails than on snowy roads.
