Scorpio - Didi Thurau - Bahnrad

It hardly gets any better than this. This beauty was built by Bernd Gässler for Didi Thurau a German racing cyclist champion. Master Gässler built a couple of bikes for Didi. A famous one was the 26/28-bike Didi used 1985 during a time trial stage of the TdF. Scorpio bikes are of superb quality. The finish is simply breathtaking. Each Scorpio is a rare gem. Bernd is a living encyckopedia of racing bikes and steel frames. He is a tinkerer and his solutions work great. Check the huge chainstay bridge and the double seatpost bridge to make the rear angle stiffer. It is simply unique Scorpio. The paintwork is not inferior to the frame at all. The colour scheme is typical for Scorpio and is executed perfectly as well. The brightness speaks for itself. By no doubt each Scorpio bike is a beatiful example of craftsmanship and a reason to fall in love with steel racing bikes. The bike is all original as it was used.
