1994 Kestrel 200SCi

This bike came to me in a purchase, originally green with Shimano "tricolor" components. I rebuilt it and traded it to a friend for a super favor. He traded it back when he bought a Cannondale, and I built it again. My friend Kirk saw some potential, and bought the frame. He sold it, but the guy reneged on the deal, so Kirk decided that was a sign he should at least take a shot at it. The result is stunning, and I can definitely say it rides much better than Kestrel envisioned in 1994. Just an amazing ride.

Beautiful repaint by Calvin, frame prepped by my friend Kirk, dropouts sanded and polished in lieu of paint. I have been as fast on this bike, under power, as I've ever been. Precise, balanced, agile, and light.
