88 Centurion Dave Scott Ironman Restomod

This is the same frame as the 1988 Master seen in my list of bikes, a.k.a. "The Purple Haze." After thousands of miles, it needed a makeover.

Frame:
56cm Tange 1 chrome-moly steel. It's real.

Fork/Headset:
Ritchey 1" threadless fork / FSA Orbitz headset

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Ultegra 6800 crankset / Ultegra 6700 bottom bracket

Pedals:
Look Keo2Max Carbon

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
11-28 11sp Ultegra cogs / Ultegra 6800 53/39 chain rings. KMC X.11 93 chain.

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano 5800 GS long-cage RD / Shimano 5800 braze-on FD on a Driven clam adapter / Shimano 5800 STI 2x11 shifters.

Handlebars/Stem:
Toseek carbon UD bars (42cm) / Toseek carbon/alloy 80mm stem.

Saddle/Seatpost:
Toseek full carbon saddle/rails, blatant copy of the SSM Aspide / FSA F.A.C.T seatpost.

Brakes:
Ultegra 6800 calipers.

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Bontrager RXL/TLR 22mm inner width rim, laced to Bontrager (DT Swiss hub) / Conti GP4000SII 700x25's

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
