Cyclops Chris Hood Track

I was lucky enough to pick up this frame off of its original owner: Chris Hood who raced for team Cyclops back in the day. Chris was one of Canada's strongest track sprinters, and trained under Jocelyn Lovell. Mike Mulholland built Chris a few frames over the years, his first frame was wrecked by a crash, leading to bars hitting the top tube and severely denting the top tube. Mike built this bike for Chris with integrated bar slap guards. It was a treat to chat with Chris and hear many of his stories and first hand accounts of the racing and other racers, training under the supervision of Lovell and hanging out at the Cyclops shop with Mike and his sons. Chris was #2 in Canada for track sprinters in the 1980s and a proud member of team Cyclops with Richard Young and a few other fantastic racers. I feel lucky to own a bike with a pedigree like this one. Needs some Suntour Superbe NJS cranks before it's complete, wanted to buy!!! Please message me if you have a set for sale.
