Norco Fluid A1

After a friend bought a beautiful 12kg Carbon Specialized Stumpjumper with Hope Tech4 Brakes and Transmission I felt the need of a lighter downcountry bike too. The thing is that his Enduro weights 17kg and his Downcountry 12kg. My Enduro weights only 14.5kg so in theory I would either need a 10kg Downcountry bike or I don't need none. A 10kg build would be crazy expensive but just not trying the downcountry lifestyle would let me guessing and regreting. Luckily Orange has some carzy discount but building up a frameset is never a cheap option so I found this 2023 Norco testbike that was brandnew because it never got testet. Nevertheless they still put it on sale with a massive 45% discount. I decided that this is the best possible compromise. In case I don't enjoy the Downcountry riding I can sell this bike without loosing as much money like I would be loosing selling a custom build. But if I realy like it, I can build up an Orange Stage Evo dreambuild and it will just cost me a bit more because of this purchase. Luckily for my wallet this bike didn't flash me. The Suspendion is to sensitive and bobs a lot when climbing. My Orange climbs better and of course it descends way better.
